“Bhonsala celebrates 86th Raising Day with great enthusiasm”
The 86th School Anniversary of the Bhonsala Military School, run by Central Hindu Military Education Society was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Brigd Shyam Shankar was the chief guest for the event. The Chief Guest first offered floral wreath at Shaheed Smarak. He also garlanded the bust of the founder Dharmveer Dr. Balkrishna Shivram Moonje. The Pooja was also performed at the foundation stone at the hands of Chief guest.
After that, the Pooja of all the company flags of Arjun, Balwant, Chhatrapati and Dhanurdhar companies was performed.
The students of the school saluted the chief guest by performing a procession (parade) which was led by the horse troops. It was followed by the equestrian troupe who won the respect of the dignitaries by presenting various breathtaking demonstrations.
Then, the stage program was started. The introduction of the chief guest was done by the school commandant Brigadier M.M. Masoor VSM (Retd). The chief guest was felicitated at the hands of CMA Hemant Deshpande General Secretary, CHMES.
Brigd Shyam Shankar expressed his sincere thanks for inviting him as the chief guest. In his speech he congratulated the Ramdandees for their spectacular parade. He said that today we salute the holy memory of great personality of Dharamveer Dr. Balkrishna Shivram Moonje. There are many schools in Maharashtra, among which Bhonsala has its own significance. He asserted that you all should dream high. Don’t study to pass the exam only but to lead the nation as an officer. Seeing the successful progress of the institution, the dream of a military school seen by the founder, seems to have come true. It is a matter of pride that many students are serving the country as military officers today. Expressing good wishes for the continuous progress of the institution, he wished all the office bearers, teachers and staff on this occasion.
CMA Hemant Deshpande General Secretary, CHMES highlighted the progress and future plans of the institution. He told that our 600 Ramdandees are serving in armed forces.

Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Sena Medal (Retd) Supervisor Vishal Joshi, Principals of all branches as well as all teaching staff, well-wishers were present.
The program was moderated by Mrs. Deepali Dhanait, Mrs. Swati Borse, Mrs. Dhanashree Kapadnis. The anchors for the programme were Rudra Pandey, Parth Ghadage, Rudransh Giri, Yash Jadhav and Shyam Prasad.
The vote of thanks was given by the school principal Rajendra Jagtap. The program was concluded with the National Anthem.
