“ Bhonsala Military School pays tribute to Kargil Martyrs .”
CHME Society’s Bhonsala Military School Nashik, paid homage to Brave Indian soldiers at Hutatma Smarak in Nashik city. Adv Avinash Bhide, Working President of CHME Society Nashik, Milind Vaidya, Secretary of CHME Society and Brig. M. M. Masur, VSM (Retd) laid wreath and paid tribute to Kargil Martyrs at the Hutatma Smarak, Nashik. All the dignitaries showed the flag to start the route march.
The students including NCC Cadets of various educational units of CHME Society started the route march from Hutatma Smarak Nashik to Bhonsala Military School. All the Students marched in three different routes of the city and gathered at the Shahid Smarak in the premises of Bhonsala School to pay their respects.
Officer Bearers of CHME Society saluted the marching units on various routes. Shital Deshpande, Chairman of Bhonsala Military School and Adv. Suyog Shaha at T.A.Kulkarni Circle, College Road. Whereas Smt. Suvarna Dabak and Smt. Asawari Dharmadhikari were at Sainiki Hostel, Triambak Road. At Mahatma Nagar Cricket Ground Smt. Vasudha Kulkarni Chairman of Bhonsala Military School Girls and Maj. Sapna Sharma ( Retd ) commandant of the girls’ school received the salute. Rahul Vaidya, Treasurer of CHME Society Nashik and Smt. Mithila Deshpande Chairman of Shishu Vihar Balak Mandir, Nashik were at Pramod Mahajan Garden. Sanjay Pagare, President of CHME Society Nashik Division and Dr. Manohar Shinde Vice President of CHME Society Nashik took salute at Shahid Smarak, Gangapur Road.
The route march started from Hutatma Smarak concluded at Shahid Smarak of Bhonsala Military School. Col. RajendraKumar Mandavkar, (Retd ) CMA received the guard of honour and laid wreath at Shahid Smarak.
The chief guest was welcomed and introduced by Brigadier M.M. Masur, VSM(Retd). General Secretary of CHME Society, CMA Hemant Deshpande felicitated the chief guest. In his speech, the chief guest said that 23 years ago on this day on 26th July, the brave soldiers of India sacrificed their lives for the country and expelled the Pakistani infiltrator terrorists and soldiers from Kargil. On this special occasion, every year 'Victory Day' is celebrated to remember the brave sons of motherland who achieved heroic deeds. This is an unforgettable day in the history of the country. He asserted that we should all remember it and be proud of the nation. Hope as many of our students join the army and serve our mother land.
On the occasion the General Secretary C.M.A. Hemant Deshpande shared his thoughts. He said that many brave soldiers of India lost their lives in Operation Vijay and their stories of bravery and valor are told everywhere on this occasion.
Then the chief guest garlanded the bust of Dharmveer Dr. B. S. Moonje. On this occasion, CMA Hemant Deshpande, School Committee President Sheetal Deshpande, Narendra Wani and all other officials, Commandant of the school Brigadier M.M. Masur VSM (Retd), Maj. Sapna Sharma (Retd), Principal Rajendra Jagtap, CTO Jitendrakumar Mishra, SM (Retd) S/O Vishal Joshi, Headmasters of other schools, heads of departments, teaching staff, military trainers, parents, citizens were present in a large number.
The program was moderated by Deepali Dhanait and Kadambari Jadhav. The vote of thanks was proposed by the school Principal Rajendra Jagtap.
The programme was concluded with National Anthem.
