Military School celebrates 78th Independence Day”
78th Independence Day was celebrated on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in the holy soil of Rambhoomi to commemorate India's liberation from British colonial rule on August 15, 1947, The General Secretary of CHME Society CMA Hemant Deshpande and the school chairman Hon. Shital Deshpande were the chief guests who hoisted the Indian flag. He said “This year's Independence Day carries the theme "Viksit Bharat," which translates to "Developed India." The theme underscores the Indian government's ambitious vision of transforming India into a fully developed nation by 2047, the centenary of its independence”.
On this occasion an Investiture Ceremony was also arranged. The various ranks of Army, Navy and Air wings with the school ranks like JUO, SUO, RSM, VRC , Riding Sargent, Sports Sargent and were given to the leading students at the hands of the chief guests.
Ramdandee Aditya Chandanse and Ramdandee Rudra Pandey awarded with ranks of Ramdandee Captain and Vice Ramdandee Captain respectively.
The General Secretary of CHME Society CMA Hemant Deshpande, the school Chairman Hon. Shital Deshpande, Commandant Col. Sandeep Puri, (Retd), Principal Rajendra Jagtap, F/O Vishal Josh, Section Incharges Sunita Hadape, Swati Shinde S/O (Dr.) Jitendra Magare ANO Air Wing, T/O Yogesh Chakor ANO Naval Wing, conferred the ranks to the cadets. The school commandant and principal congratulated all the appointees. All teaching and Military Training staff were present for the function.
